FriendsFest reunited
OH.MY.GOD! as Janice from Friends might say, the sets – and more – from the cult classic sitcom about a group of 20 something New Yorkers are coming to Bristol!
Could you BE any more excited to discover that Comedy Central’s FriendsFest, a celebration of all things Friends, is returning to the UK as part of a 25th anniversary tour? You (or your teens) can completely immerse yourself in every aspect of the show at the Blaise Castle Estate on Fri 23 August – Sun 1 September.
Head over to Greenwich Village and make yourselves at home in Monica’s apartment. Every single one of the main characters lived here at one point.
Have a game of foosball or lay back in the Barcaloungers and shoot the breeze over at Joey and Chandler’s place. How you doin’?
Check out Ross’s fossils. This is where the Ugly Naked Guy lived until he moved out and Ross, with the help of some mini muffin bribes, moved in.
Linger in the corridor.
Grab a seat on that orange sofa, order a coffee in Central Perk and imagine Phoebe and Smelly Cat.
Start singing ‘I’ll be there for yoooooo’ and recreate the opening titles.
As well as the sets, you and your friends can pop yourself into iconic scenes – the Thanksgiving floating heads moment, Joey’s cardboard box Porsche, the three wedding dress shot and the hilarious PIVOT! bit where they’re struggling to get a sofa up the stairs – soooo Instagrammable.
Original memorabilia, Friends themed food stalls, a cocktail bar, a Friends quiz, digital photos and exclusive merchandise galore (natch), plus your fave episodes on the open air Comedy Central big screen.
You book a slot for your timed tour around the sets but you can stay for as long as you like on the site. Tickets cost £29, including booking fee, you can buy here.
