Take a peep inside some of Muddy readers' favourite Dorset & Somerset interiors shops
Say hello to the five interiors biz that Muddy readers voted into the finals of the Best Interiors Store in the Somerset & Dorset Muddy Awards 2021
Perfectly Lovely Interiors, Watchet
With Scandi, French, New England, Boho and shabby chic furniture, decor and homewares on offer here, (almost) no style is left unturned at the Winner of the Best Interiors Store in Somerset & Dorset. Self-confessed interiors obsessive Jen chooses everything herself and we’re guessing her favourite colour is white? Visit her brand new shop in Watchet or buy online.
Indigo Sprout, Highbridge
Doing their bit for sustainable interiors, this online business specialises in reclaimed, vintage and antique furniture, lighting, architectural salvage and homewares, with a few contemporary statement pieces thrown into the mix. If you’re looking for something specific, they’ll do their best to find it for you.
Fallow & Fern Interiors, Willows & Wetlands Centre, Stoke St Gregory, near Taunton
Claire takes her inspiration from Cath Kidston, Rachel Ashwell, Kirstie Allsopp and the Somerset countryside to curate her collection of country style interiors. So it’s all muted colours – grey, pastels, naturals – with chalk painted furniture, quilts, hand decorated homewares and candles. She also runs furniture painting and lampshade workshops and is an authorised Autentico paint stockist.
Sixty One on Swanage High Street, is crammed with quirky and vintage (sometimes both) furniture, lighting, homewares, plants, pictures, clothes, toys – basically anything that captures the owners’ eye. Shop in store or online.
So Interiors, Dorset
This is more of a gift shop for the home, with a range of kitchen, home wares and bibelots for your pad, all available online.
