Float Glastonbury, Glastonbury

Be a floater! Achieve a lasting sense of calm and deep relaxation with float and infrared sessions in the bucolic Somerset countryside.

Tucked beneath the iconic Glastonbury Tor, with sheep and cows grazing just beyond the door, Float Glastonbury is the definition of peaceful. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to slow down, breathe deeply and enjoy a restorative walk before or after your session.

Created by floatation expert Luke and yoga teacher Jess, the centre offers a truly calming escape. Suspended effortlessly in warm Glastonbury spring water (so no nasty contaminants) infused with food grad German-mined Epsom salts, your body is freed from pressure while your mind switches off from the demands of everyday life. The result is deep relaxation, reduced stress, soothed muscles and a lasting sense of calm.

There are two float rooms – one light, one dark (both gradually fade to darkness) – with the option to float solo or share a tank. Prices start at £50 for a 60-minute solo float (£85 for two people), with longer 90-180 minute sessions available from £65. Regular floaters can save with packages from £125 for three floats.

For an extra wellness boost, try the centre’s infrared light therapy, which uses red and near-infrared light to support skin health and aid recovery in muscles and joints. Afterwards, unwind with a complimentary herbal tea in the cosy snug or on the peaceful willow terrace, leaving you refreshed, recharged and ready to face the world again.
