Hall & Woodhouse Portishead
Get yourselves over to Portishead’s unique pub housed in converted shipping containers on the marina, with an extensive menu, West Country beers, a fab first floor games room, live music, comedy, art events and more.

One of the most distinctive buildings on Quay Marina, Hall & Wood Portishead is housed in 28 converted shipping containers – so industrial vibes outside, comfy pub feels inside – overlooking the marina’s boats, sculptures, tiny beach and across to the Bristol Channel.
Want to eat, drink and relax? Take a seat in the bar, the laid-back dining area or out on the quayside terrace. Whether you’re peckish or starving, meat eater or veggie, like to try something new or prefer traditional (their Sunday roasts are said to be great), you’ll find something on the menu to tempt. Their special offers are pretty tasty too. And you have to have a glass of Badger & Outland beer, brewed by Hall & Woodhouse themselves, deep in the Dorset countryside.
Challenge your kids, mates or other half to a game of American pool, table football, shuffleboard or digital darts? It’s all to play for up in the first floor games room, one of the best of its kind around.
There’s always something going on, from quiz nights and music bingo to art events, comedy and live music – this place has a real community feel – and you can always hire out the private function room for your own shindig.
Kids will love the kid’s packs and their own menu.
Well-behaved dogs are always welcome downstairs and on the terrace.
