This quirky cafe, bakery and restaurant is one of Muddy’s favourite places to come for breakfast, lunch or for some of their moreish cakes. We’re not alone: Pip’sRailway Carriage was voted Best Cafe in Somerset in the last Muddy Stilettos Awards.

Using the best local produce, including stuff from their own organic farm, Pip and her team create inventive and eclectic sweet and savoury goodies in their bakeshop and restaurant kitchen. The menu’s brilliant for veggies although meat eaters aren’t forgotten – and the cakes are to spectacular. I mean, just look at the pix.

All served in their refurbished double decker bus, Victorian railway carriage (which is now fitted out with little dining booths), under a marquee or out in their garden.
