<p>Get your chops around some of the best burgers in the world (not exaggerating). World Burger Championship finalists, winners of the National Burger Awards and BBQ enthusiasts, <a href="https://thebeefyboys.com/locations/#bath" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Beefy Boys</a>, have arrived on Milsom Street in Bath. </p>

<p>Chomp on thick patties, smashed patties, Oklahoma or Animal style burgers made with freshly minced 100% Hereford beef in baked-that-day semi brioche buns. Oklahoma Onion Boy (two mustard-fried Oklahoma style patties, double American cheese) and Dirty Boy (bacon, beef dripping onions, dirty mayo, double American cheese are two that won the gongs but there are are plenty more to choose from including veggie versions. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-a-new-old-pub-in-somerset">A new – old – pub in Somerset  </h2>



<p>Hurrah!  The community-owned<a href="https://www.hoppoleinn.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Hop Pole Inn</a> in Limpley Stoke near Bath has reopened its doors after being closed and neglected for years, three-years of work – and nearly £1.2million raised – by volunteers.</p>

<p>The pub, which dates back to the 16th century and featured in <em>The Remains of the the Day </em>with Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson<em>,</em> is now under the helm of Charlie Rawlings and Hannah Randall, and serves traditional British dishes including sharing pies and vegan dishes. </p>
