<p>Sam Harrison plays all 22 characters, from Jeeves and Wooster, to Gussie Fink-Nottle and Aunt Dahlia in <em><a href="https://www.theatreroyal.org.uk/events/jeeves-takes-charge/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jeeves Takes Charge</a></em> at the Theatre Royal Bath, from 6 Dec–4 Jan. Sasha Reagan&#8217;s all-male version of the Gilbert &amp; Sullivan&#8217;s <em><a href="https://www.theatreroyal.org.uk/events/the-pirates-of-penzance/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pirates of Penzance</a></em> is at the Theatre Royal Bath, 2 – 7 Dec. The Ballroom King and <em>Strictly</em> judge <a href="https://www.lighthousepoole.co.uk/event/christmas-with-anton-du-beke/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Anton Du Beke</a> and pals strut their stuff and sing Christmas-style at Lighthouse Poole, 19 Dec.</p>

The <a href="https://swheritage.org.uk/events/christmas-at-somerset-rural-life-museum-2024/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Somerset Rural Life Museum </a> in Glastonbury is feeling festive from 7 Dec,  decorated with foliage and ‘Chorus of Angels’ display, &#8216;Voices of Christmas’ sound installation in the Abbey Barn, Christmas tree (natch) and cuddly elf trail. The Bath Philharmonia play live with the Raymond Briggs’ film <a href="https://bathboxoffice.org.uk/whats-on/the-snowman" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Snowman</a> plus other seasonal favourites at The Forum, Bath, 14 Dec. Mozart Symphony Orchestra play <a href="https://bristolbeacon.org/whats-on/the-snowman-2024/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><em>The Gruffalo </em>and <em>The Gruffalo’s Child</em></a> – with each character played by a different instrument – and <em>The Snowman</em> (along to the film) at Bristol Beacon 21 Dec<strong>. </strong>Jump into an exciting dog trail with the cute characters from Alice Tait’s storybook <em>No, Nancy, No! A Dog Chase in New York</em> at the <a href="https://americanmuseum.org/whats-on/festive-trail/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">American Gardens and Museum</a> near Bath, until 31 Dec. </p>
