<p>The Muddy Stilettos Award 2022 winners (Best Food &amp; Drink Producer in Dorset &amp; Somerset) sell their gorgeous artisan gelato and sorbet from kiosks in Lyme Regis, West Bay and Weymouth, a trailer in Morecombelake and a cafe in Swanage. Gelato is made using more milk than cream, so it&#8217;s lower in fat than ice cream; there&#8217;s less air, giving a more concentrated flavour.  Go for gelato (20+ flavours), milkshakes, smoothies, waffles, toasties, cocktails, great coffee and a frozen Doggy Doggy Yum Yum for your pooch. It&#8217;s all handmade in Bridport using Dorset fruit and other ingredients, Valrhona chocolate from France and Somerset milk. You can buy online.</p>

<p>Owner and head pastry chef Micheal Russell honed his craft (sugarcraft, that is), along with boulangerie, chocolate and patisserie, in Paris and at some of London&#8217;s swankiest establishments (The Lanesborough, The Ivy, The Berkley&#8230;) before coming back to the West Country.
