<p>The Devonshire and Combe Down Tunnels and some of Bath&#8217;s attractions en route and a wide range of races and runs for all levels, from a 500m Colourburst race (that&#8217;ll be me) to a marathon (you?). It&#8217;s the UK&#8217;s longest underground 10K btw.</p>

<p>13.1 miles through the heart of Weymouth taking in the stunning views of the Jurassic coastline. </p>

<p>Fifteen miles and two thousand feet of fell running around the Mendips. Not one for the fainthearted. </p>

<p>This one, a two-lap flat course around the city of Bath, has raised over £30 million for charities over the years. The Battle of the Bands, local bands playing in different locations along the route, will keep you going.</p>

<p>One of Somerset&#8217;s most popular running events, a half marathon with a 2k fun run thrown in. The race starts and ends in town but takes in the Yeovil Country Park, Elizabethan mansion Montacute House and some pretty south Somerset countryside.</p>

<p>You go under it, you can go over it, you can go through it. It&#8217;s not a bear hunt but a challenging but fun 20+ obstacle mud and water course in the fields surrounding Puxton Park. What are you up for:  5k, 10k &#8230; 20k (eek)?</p>

<p>Run, jog or walk 10k, 25k, a marathon, 50k or 100k (gulp) along the Jurassic Coast, starting in Corfe Castle.  New for this year, they&#8217;re throwing in a Weymouth marathon. Piece of (Dorset apple) cake. </p>

<p>The Exmoor Perambulation and Man vs Moor come together over one weekend, starting with a sunset swim on Pinkery Pond and all kinds of walks and runs inbetween, from kids 1.5k runs to the full Man vs Moors gamut, passing through some of Exmoor&#8217;s remotest areas. </p>

<p>Does what is says on the tin. One of the UK&#8217;s toughest outdoor functional fitness and endurance events, with workouts, running, rowing and even rucking, heavy carries, assault course and other lung-busting, muscle-burning stuff, at the Greville Smyth Sports Ground.</p>

<p>Swim 750m in the open sea (brrrr); a 20km cycle on hilly roads with brilliant views out and back towards the village of Porlock and a 5km<strong> </strong>run taking in Minehead seafront and the woods of Culver Cliff. </p>
